Why your Local SEO isn't working
Competitors own the Map Pack
You're a better business, but the shop down the road shows up in the top 3 on Google Maps, and gets the calls.
Too few (or too old) reviews
Customers compare stars and recent reviews before they call. A thin or unanswered review profile loses them.
A neglected Google Business Profile
Wrong categories, few photos, no posts, outdated hours, Google treats an inactive profile as a less relevant one.
Inconsistent details everywhere
Old addresses and phone numbers on directories confuse Google, and customers, about who and where you are.
What we do about it
Local SEO built around paying customers
Google Business Profile overhaul

Questions
Straight answers
Why is my business not showing on Google Maps?
The most common reasons are an unverified or suspended profile, the wrong primary category, an address or service area that doesn't match where searchers are, and too few recent reviews. Also check how you're testing: Google shows map results by distance, so a search from your own office tells you little about what customers across town see.
Why is my business not showing up on Google after verification?
New or re-verified profiles often take a few days to a few weeks to appear for category searches like 'plumber near me', even when they show for your business name. If it's been longer than that, check for a pending edit, a suspension notice, or a category and address that don't match your website.
Why was my Google Business Profile suspended?
Common triggers are keywords added to the business name, a virtual office or PO box used as an address, a service area that's far too big, or several profiles for the same business. Fix the cause first, then appeal with proof such as a utility bill, business license or photos of your signage.
How do I get more Google reviews?
Ask every happy customer, at the moment they're happiest, with a direct link that opens the review box. A text message after the job works far better than a line on an invoice. Reply to every review, good and bad. Never buy reviews or offer rewards for them: Google removes them and can suspend the profile.
How many Google reviews do I need to rank?
There's no magic number. Look at the businesses in the top three for your main search and aim to match or beat their count, then keep reviews coming every month. Recent reviews count for more than a big pile from years ago.
Should I do local SEO or Google Ads first?
If you need calls this month, start with Google Ads or Local Services Ads. If you can wait a few months, local SEO usually brings cheaper leads for longer. Most of our local clients run ads while their map rankings build, then rely on them less once SEO takes over.
How much does local SEO cost?
It depends on how many locations you have, how competitive your trade is and how much work your profile and website need. A single-location business in a quiet market needs far less than a multi-location clinic in a big city. We give a fixed monthly quote after a free review, with no long contract.
How fast can I get into the Map Pack?
Profile and review improvements often move rankings within 4–8 weeks. Competitive cities and categories take longer, on your free consultation we'll show exactly where you stand against the top 3.
Do you work with service-area businesses (no shopfront)?
Yes, plumbers, cleaners, roofers and other businesses that travel to customers. We optimize your service areas and build pages for each town you cover.
Can you remove bad reviews?
We can flag reviews that break Google's policies, but we won't buy or fake reviews. We help you earn more genuine ones and reply professionally, which matters more.
Do I keep my Google Business Profile if I leave?
Always. It stays in your name, we only ever work with manager access.
